We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Paraplanner who is eager to grow into a Financial Advisor role within 2–3 years.
This role is designed as a developmental position, providing hands-on exposure to comprehensive wealth management, including investment strategy, tax planning, estate coordination, and family governance. The paraplanner will work closely with senior advisors and clients, gradually taking on increased responsibility in client relationships and planning strategy.
The Expertise We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
- CFP® certification (or actively pursuing) strongly preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or family office environment.
- Strong understanding of comprehensive financial planning, including investments, tax strategies, and estate planning basics.
- Experience with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital) and CRM systems.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when working with high-net-worth clients.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a detail-oriented environment

Responsibilities Include
- Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive financial plans for high-net-worth families, including retirement, tax, estate, and legacy planning.
- Prepare and organize client meeting materials, including net worth statements, cash flow analyses, portfolio reviews, and planning scenarios.
- Analyze complex client financial situations and identify planning opportunities across investments, tax efficiency, risk management, and estate structures.
- Support advisors in client meetings, with the expectation of gradually taking a more active speaking and relationship management role.
- Conduct research on investment strategies, alternative investments, tax-efficient solutions, and estate planning techniques.
- Coordinate with external professionals such as CPAs, estate attorneys, and trustees to ensure cohesive client strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records in CRM and planning software.
- Participate in internal investment and planning discussions to deepen technical knowledge.
- Stay current on regulatory changes, tax law updates, and industry best practices.
This role is structured to transition into a Financial Advisor position, with a clear progression that includes:
- Year 1: Technical planning, analysis, and meeting preparation.
- Year 2: Increased client interaction, presenting portions of plans, relationship development.
- Year 3: Lead advisor responsibilities for select clients, with support from senior team members.
